Three Fighting For Life Following Fiery Albany Car Crash

Three people are suffering life threatening burns in hospital after being involved in a fiery car crash north of Albany.

Police said a Ford Falcon sedan was travelling on Menang Drive in Willyung when it appeared to have lost control near Chester Pass Road, colliding with a tree before bursting into flames at about 1:30am.

A 23-year-old female driver as well as a 21 and 23 year-old male passenger sustained life threatening burns.

They were taken to Albany Health Campus before being flown to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Menang Drive remains closed in between Copal Road and Rocky Crossing Road and drivers are asked to proceed with caution with diversions in place.
