Mobile payment app – iWallet
The iPhone 6 is widely expected to come equipped with near-field communication (NFC), which would allow users to complete payments as quickly as the tap-and-go function on some payment cards.
Large screen iPhone – iPhone L
Apple is tipped to be revealing both a 4.7-inch smartphone and a 5.5-inch “phablet”, dubbed the iPhone 6L, which would compete with the popular Samsung Galaxy.
At 4 inches, the current iPhone 5 model sports a smaller screen
Software update – iOS 8
New features include predictive text, the ability to respond to notifications without having to unlock a device, new messaging features, family user accounts, and connectivity with other smart devices.
Improvements to the phone’s camera, processor and speakers.
A slimmer body made from aluminium.
A new location for the wake/sleep button on the right-hand edge near the top, instead of on the top edge.
A USB cable with a reversible plug that works whichever way you put it in.
Longer battery power – up to 15% more than iPhone 5.
Higher screen resolution – at least 1704 x 960 for the 5.5-inch screen, if it’s to have similar pixel density to the iPhone 5.
Max storage – 128 GB.
