This 4th March ,fourth generation technology 4G or LTE (Long Term Evolution) will be implemented in Chile, after the proposal of the Department of Telecommunications (Subtel). At the Mobile World Congress (WMC) taking place in Barcelona, Movistar Chile said the plans will be similar to those of 3G.
Entel, Movistar,Claro,VTR,Manquehue and Virgin are mobile operators that were awarded the bands to operate 4G technology in Chile.

There are over four million Internet connections and 40% of them are made via smartphones. This means that today’s networks are saturated of information and need a faster path with good charging and discharging capacity to the increasing demand for data transmission.
