WA Police have charged a Safety Bay woman over after she suffocated a family member in September.
Rockingham Detectives allege the 32-year-old woman went to a family member’s home in Swan View between 13 and 14 September.
While at the home, she damaged several inside walls.
On 15 September, it is alleged the woman used a soft item to smother her teenage daughter on three separate occasions until she became unconscious.
The victim was able to seek assistance later in the day and police were called.
The woman was arrested and has been charged with attempted to unlawfully kill, aggravated home burglary and criminal damage or destruction of property.
She is due to appear before the Stirling Magistrates Court on 28 November.
