Police are continuing investigations into a serious motorcycle crash in Yokine earlier this month.
According to Traffic Enforcement Group Officers, a 56-year-old man was riding his white and black 2001 model Honda 1000cc motorcycle heading north in the left-hand lane at about 6:05pm on Flinders Street.
Police allege a white van that was also travelling north on Flinders Street moved from the right-hand lane into the left lane, forcing the motorcycle rider to take evasive action.
The man braked heavily and his motorcycle struck the kerb, causing him to fall from his motorcycle onto the road.
The driver of the van continued on, possibly unaware of what had occurred.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with a shoulder injury.
Police would like to talk to the van driver and are asking him or her to come forward.
The driver was wearing a hi-visibility vest.
