A series of retail thefts between the 19th and 8th of November have seen two women charged by Mandurah Detectives.
The women allegedly removed large amounts of food from retail premises shelves, before quickly leaving the store.
It will also be alleged that on accession one of the women would remove the property, while the second woman waited in a vehicle with the engine running to make their escape.
The total amount of goods removed is allegedly valued at over $6,000.
As a result a 32 year old Port Kennedy woman was charged with;
– 5 x counts Stealing,
– 1 x count of Common Assault,
– 2 x counts Gains benefit by fraud and,
– 1 x count Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.
A 28 year old Port Kennedy woman was charged with;
– 5 x counts Stealing.
Both women are due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
