A new grant program is now accepting applications, with the aim of assisting Western Australian companies to engage with and develop international business capabilities in Asia.
The Priority Sector Funding Program seeks applications from industry associations and bilateral businesses, running projects on behalf of WA’s priority trade and investment sectors.
This comes as part of the McGowan Government’s delivery on the election commitment to create jobs.
Asian Engagement Minister, Bill Johnston, encourages all organisations who meet the required criteria to apply.
“As our closest neighbours, it’s important we continue to strengthen our business ties with Asia – which could create jobs for Western Australians,” he said.
Funding of up to $30,000 is available for outbound projects like participation in key international forums or business programs, and $20,000 available for inbound projects showcasing WA industries to international delegations.
