Police Seek Attacker After Dog Stabbing in Mirrabooka Park

Police are investigating an incident in which a man stabbed and killed a dog in a Mirrabooka park on Wednesday in front of its owner.

The 22-year-old Mirrabooka woman was exercising her four-year-old Labrador Luna and her male Labrador at Apple Blossom Polyantha Reserve off lead at about 6:00pm.

She left Luna off her lead when it was alleged a man approached the dog, attacking it.

She took Luna to a veterinary hospital where she passed away from the injuries received.

Mirrabooka Police are looking for a tall, white-skinned man, with a light coloured beard and wearing a tan coloured hoodie and dark pants.
