Train Jumper Caught on CCTV, Remains on the Run

Police are continuing the hunt for a man believed to have jumped from the roof of a moving train in Fremantle on Saturday, releasing images of the man.

The man was seen walking north on Stirling Highway at around 10:20am before loitering in the train station carpark.

He was seen to then jump over a fence, cross the railway track and climb up the outside of a train recently arrived in Fremantle.

A short time later, the man jumped from the moving train into the Swan River at the Fremantle rail bridge.

He is described as being 25 to 35-years-old, light skinned, of a medium build and with ginger hair.

The man was shirtless at the time, only wearing dark coloured shorts and sneakers.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist them with inquiries.

They ask anyone who recognises the man or may have information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
