An armed robbery that occurred on Gardiner Street, Belmont, on Friday 12th is under investigation by Kensington Detectives.
The male victim, who works for a food delivery service, dropped of a man on Gardiner Street at approximately 11pm. The man was accompanied by three women at the time, and then threatened the victim with a knife and a screwdriver whilst demanding money.
The victim threw his wallet out of the car window, which lead the offender to exit the vehicle and retrieve the victim’s wallet. The man and the women left the area shortly thereafter.
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as dark skinned, medium build, 25-45 years of age, wearing a black hooded top and black track pants.
