Two members of a gang have been charged for drugs offences after a police raid allegedly uncovered methamphetamine at their headquarters in Midland.
Carnarvon Detectives executed a search warrant at the Naala Moort gang clubhouse on Rogers Street, where police allegedly located and seized 112 grams of methamphetamine.
The raid was part of a police operation into the activities of the gang’s drug dealing in Geraldton, Carnarvon, Karratha and Port Hedland.
The 43-year-old president of the gang and 44-year-old man have been charged with three counts of selling, supplying or offering to sell or supply a trafficable amount of Methamphetamine and one count of selling a prohibited drug.
They have also been charged with one count of conspiracy to sell of supply a prohibited drug.
The 44 year old man has also been charged with possessing a trafficable amount of Methamphetamine with the intent to sell or supply to another.
He is due to appear in the South Hedland Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old president has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on February 15.
Investigations into the gang’s activities are ongoing.
