Man wanted for questioning over attempted armed robbery in Burswood

Police are seeking the public to provide information on an attempted armed robbery incident which happened in Burswood on Friday morning (23rd, November, 2018).

At around 4:30AM, a woman was entering her car parked at a muti-storey parking facility on Great Eastern Highway.

She was approached by a man armed with a hammer and demanded money as she was about to close the door.

The woman shut the door quickly as the man struck the vehicle with the hammer.

He then left the scene on foot, ran towards a small white vehicle and drove away.

It’s understood police have found the vehicle in Victoria Park.

Authorities have release pictures of the man who they can assist with their investigation.

Police described the man as approximately 155cms tall and medium build. During the Incident, police described he was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a white mask covering his face.
