Police Seize Guns and Drugs in Port Kennedy Raids

Police have charged a 20-year-old Port Kennedy man over the possession of firearms in Port Kennedy this week.

A search warrant was executed on Tuesday at about 9:30am at a residence in Toledo Circuit, which was linked to an associated of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member.

It will be alleged Gang Crime Squad officers seized a number guns including a .30 calibre revolver, .308 calibre semi-automatic rifle, .308 calibre rifle and 56 rounds of ammunition.

They also drugs and drug equipment including liquid testosterone and a smoking implement.

The man has been charged with unlicenced possession of ammunition, unlicenced possession of three or more firearms, possession of a prohibited drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on 28 September.

Meanwhile, Gang Crime Squad officers have also charged a man and a woman connected to the Outlaw motorcycle gang over the possession of illicit drugs in Port Kennedy this week.

Just before 9:00am, Gang Crime Squad officers executed a search warrant at a home in Delaney Parkway on Tuesday.

It will be alleged a large quantity of drugs and drug equipment were seized during the search, including 23.2 grams of Methylamphetamine, 4.4 grams of MDMA, 0.4 grams of MDA, 211 grams of Cannabis and four smoking implements.

Weapons were also recovered including three flick knives and three expandable batons.

Police also seized $19,650 in cash.

A 46-year-old Port Kennedy man has been charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supple, three counts of possessing a prohibited drug, three counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing stolen property and ammunition.

A 32-year-old woman also from Port Kennedy has also been charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supple, possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing stolen property and possessing ammunition

They are both due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on 10 September
