Police seeks public assistance on Innaloo fires

Police are seeking information regarding a fire lit behind stores on Scarborough Beach Road in Innaloo in August.

CCTV footage shows a man set alight to different items outside and behind a group of shops at around 7:45pm on 26 August.

The Department Of Fire and Emergency Services were called and extinguished the blaze, which caused minor damage to the building’s exterior.

Police want to speak with the man in the picture, who they believe can assist them with this investigation.

Authorities urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or has dash cam footage of the area around the time of fire to come forward and contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or by making a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

A $50,000 is available for information that leads to arrest and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
