One person has died and two others has been seriously injured in a crash near Brunswick overnight.
At about 11:00pm on Tuesday, a white Holden Commodore carrying three occupants was driving south on South Western Highway.
Police said the vehicle was entering the outer skirts of the Brunswick Junction town site entered a slight left hand curve in the road, losing control and crossing to the wrong side of the road, colliding with several trees before rolling onto its roof.
The front passenger, a man in his 20s died in the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver who was their 20s was admitted to hospital and the rear passenger who was also in their 20s received minor injuries.
Major Crash Investigators are investigating the crash.
They are seeking anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle on the South Western Highway before the incident.
